 | CASABLANCA FAN BLADES |
The Quality Runs Deep
The blades of a Casablanca fan are fashioned for exceptional performance and timeless beauty. The highest quality materials are selected for long lasting durability and perfectly balanced operation.
Casablanca's eight-ply construction uses six layers of wood in a cross laminated pattern for extra strength and resistance to warping. The two outside layers are real furniture grade wood veneers. Pitched for Performance
The pitch or angle of the blades contributes to air movement. Casablanca identifies the optimal blade pitch for each fan, with a minimum of 13 degrees. Casablanca's XLP-2000 series and Direct Drive motors work in concert with precise blade pitch, creating maximum air movement and operational efficiency. Some fan motors are small and unable to meet the demands of a well pitched blade. The overload can result in motor malfunction. The strength of the blade holder is also critical to a fan's performance and durability. Over time, forces and vibrations exerted on a blade holder can have a destabilizing effect. To ensure strength and stability, every Casablanca blade holder is made of virgin zinc and precision crafted to stringent standards, including a 20,000 cycle vibration test to detect any imperfections that could lead to blade holder failure. Casablanca invests extra time and effort to assure that our customers are proud owners of the "World's Finest Ceiling Fan".
