We are both a retail store in Concord, NC and a website. We operate them together as one business and serve customers all across the country. Carolina Rustica is a dynamic company staffed by dedicated people who take pride in providing the best customer service possible for some of the finest furnishings and lighting available today. We have designed our site as a reflection of our retail store: easy to navigate, fun to explore, and full of great deals on furniture, home accents, and lighting. As our business has grown, we have tried to only add product lines that truly add value to your shopping experience. We now feature items for every room in the house, from lighting to bakers racks to iron beds. We also have a growing outdoor and garden collection and have designed our own line of beautiful and practical home accents under the Iron Artistica brand name.

A Little History
For five years, we ran a successful retail furniture and gift gallery in Charlotte, NC. Opened in 1996, Himal Home Gallery featured one-of-a-kind rustic and provincial home furnishings from near and far. The award-winning gallery presented a rich blend of hand-crafted furniture, decorative and practical home items. Hand forged iron furniture, such as canopy beds and sleigh beds, featured prominently in our store, and soon became a best-selling line.

In 1997, Himal Home Gallery went online and presented an array of best-selling home accent items to internet buyers (you can visit the site at www.himalhomegallery.com) It quickly became apparent that the demand for quality wrought-iron furniture was much greater than we anticipated. Carolina Rustica was our response to this demand, and it succeeded to the point where we closed Himal Home Galley in 2001 and moved into a retail space dedicated to our iron furniture lines. The Himal Home Gallery became our Yahoo! Store.

In 2000, we went online as Carolina Rustica, and have been growing nonstop ever since. Starting with iron beds and furniture, we began adding complimentary lighting lines such as Hubbardton Forge, Currey and Company, 2nd Avenue and more. We then began adding kitchen furnishings and accessories like John Boos, even getting into tabletop lines like Denby Pottery. We now have access to over 80 lines of furniture, lighting, kitchen accents and garden accessories.

Our Retail Store

Our store is located at the newly renovated Gibson Mill located at 325 McGill Road in Concord, NC 28027. It is a 5000 square feet showroom which features many of our most popular products and suppliers from our 70+ suppliers. We are sure you will enjoy the ambience and friendly environment.

We are particularly proud of our new showroom because it allows us to showcase works by renowned local artist Han Cashion. Han is a Korean-born painter of stunning abstract visuals, and her unique perspective on life is evident through the striking balance of color and form on her paintings. Our Store Hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 - 6:30 Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm. We are closed on Sunday. You can call the store for more information at 800-205-7819 if you have any questions about current products in stock or if you need verbal directions. You can find some great deals on in-store inventory in our Clearance section. We have also added an adjacent warehouse space to accomodate the growth we have experienced over the last 2 years. This warehouse has made a significant difference in allowing us to stock more products and decrease lead times. Some of the more popular product lines we are keeping in stock now are ceiling fans from Casablanca, lighting from Minka Lavery, Fine Art, Quoizel, and Hubbardton Forge, as well as our entire Iron Artistica line. In addition to increasing our capacity to stock inventory, our warehouse also serves as our call center, where our super-efficient customer service department stands ready to help you. We also use the warehouse as a terminal for all local deliveries. Purchases made both at our retail store and through our web site may be personally delivered by us within a 100 mile radius (approximately).
