Argento Antico
NOTES:
Not all finishes are available with every piece. This is due to the nature of the steel used and the process for actually applying the finish. Finishes fall into two categories. They are either a baked on clear/clear-tinted finish, or a baked on powdercoat finish. The powdercoat finishes have more texture.
• Aged Rust: a baked on rust powdercoat finish.
• Antique Bronze: A lightly distressed, pitted baked on powdercoat finish with slight gold tones.
• Flat Lacquer: a matte clear coat wich appears dark grey to black. Not available on all pieces. Please check before ordering.
• Antique Pewter: May be dark or light depending upon the piece. This is due to the individual hand-crafted process. Each piece is made either using HOT ROLLED or COLD ROLLED steel. Antique Pewter using the hot rolled technique appears dark gray to black, while cold rolled is usually a nickel color (which we call Antique Pewter Light). Every Charleston Forge piece is either made one way or the other. In both cases, the popular Antique Pewter finish is a translucent tinted finish that blends the steel color variations together to accentuate the hand-crafted nature of the product. This finish will show differently on different parts of the furniture piece.
• Steel: A baked on powdercoat finish with a metallic iron look. Works great with transitional pieces.
• Natural Linen: An off-white baked on powdercoat finish with medium texture.
• Old World: A rust-colored baked on powdercoat finish with high texture.
• Pewter: A clear gloss coat which has some gloss to it and shows the true color of the iron beneath.
• Textured Black: A very basic baked-on true black powdercoat finish.
• Charcoal: A baked-on powdercoat finish that is slightly darker than Flat Lacquer and has more texture to it. It is not a black finish, but one shade lighter. This is a good finish if you want the look and feel of Antique Pewter but without the variation.
Available on the Trend West Italiano Collection Only:
• Marrone Antico: A hand-painted blend of black and brown, very striking.
• Argento Antico: An antique silver finish with dark bronze streaking.
