Fallen, 100 year old reclaimed wood of the cypress family is harvested from the swamps of forests in Central America to be used to make these beautiful dining tables. The base is solid wood with a tripod footprint with a turned pedestal. The solid wood top is 51 1/2 in. in diameter with a plank look center framed by the outer wood pieces with pegged joints. Skilled artisans hand-rub the finish into the wood of each individual table to create the beautiful marriage of wood grain and natural distressing with the finish. The finish is then topped with hand applied wax adding the depth and richness to the finish and a luxurious touch to the wood. The final result is a table with an heirloom, antique quality that has its own individual character. No two tables will look exactly the same.
