Iron Finishes & Seating Options for Stone County Ironworks

Stone County Ironworks creates heirloom, hand-forged iron furniture. Blacksmiths use artistic ability and traditional tools like the hammer, anvil, and forge to create unique works of art... naturally. Stone County Ironworks has truly earned the name "America's Blacksmith Shop". Using traditional hand forging techniques, Stone County Ironworks creates iron furniture and accessories, one at a time. Quality worksmanship that reflects the skill of the blacksmith continues to set Stone County apart from other manufacturers.

Standard Finish (no upcharge) The standard finish for this bed is called "Natural Black" (we may also refer to it just as "Natural"). A majority of our customers order their iron furniture in the standard finish because it shows off the handcrafted look of the product. The actual color of Natural is dark charcoal, but it blends quite easily with black and other dark colors. If you think your current color scheme or decor may be changing, this is sometimes the best finish to order because it is so neutral.

Premium Finishes (15% upcharge)
You may want to adhere to specific color schemes with your wrought-iron furniture. Stone County has four wonderful "Premium Finishes" to accommodate these color schemes. If you want an "old world" look, Antique Copper would work quite well. For a more metallic look, you may want to consider Gunmetal. For a more textured look, try Rust or Woodland Brown. There are other Premium Finishes available for specific product lines within Stone County Ironworks' individual collections, such as the Pine Collection.

To order your iron furniture in a premium finish, you may call in your order or select the finish from the drop-down menu.. We will add 15% to the product price in the Standard Finish. We have no iron samples available of the premium finishes. However we cannot accept returns on Stone County Premium Finishes, which we consider to be a custom item.

Gold and Copper Accent Option (no upcharge)
Another popular option offered which does not involve a price increase is the Gold or Copper Accent option. The manufacturer will brush on gold or copper highlights onto specific isolated parts of the piece of iron furniture.

To select this option, you must be ordering the piece in Natural. The manufacturer will then brush on gold highlights onto the knots, leaves, or other decorative portions of your iron furniture. The effect is subtle and quite beautiful. This is a popular option because it offers some contrast while still allowing the natural beauty of the iron to be seen.

Upholstery Options
Stone County now offers three exciting seating options for all chairs and barstools. They may now be ordered in muslin upholstery, several wood options, or several leather options. Please note that the Leather upholstery options entail an additional charge of $60.00 per seat.

Muslin The muslin upholstery is a sturdy, long-lasting fabric in a neutral cream color It can easily be replaced with your own upholstery if you so wish.
