Our priority is to have your order ship in a safe and timely manner. Please read these details on how how we handle shipping your lighting or furniture.
All lighting, ceiling fans and most home accents qualify for Free Shipping with the only restrictions being shipments to APO's, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. The product page will have information as to how the item ships and whether or not it is indeed free shipping. Shipping costs for those items that are not Free Shipping are calculated automatically upon checkout.
We use UPS ground service unless you contract with us for a higher level of service. Standard UPS shipping procedures apply for our shipments. We do not ship COD.
Orders over $2,000 Ship Free Freight with only a few exceptions (see below). Lexington, Century, Hekman, Kincaid, Hickory White, Vanguard, Palecek, Thayer Coggin, and some other manufacturers are typically shipped by inside, white-glove delivery service via Classic Moving. You will be told when you order over the phone whether an item qualifies for inside delivery or not. Orders under $2,000 may be shipped via Classic Moving,, Sun Delivery, or by our common carriers (curbside): ABF, Daylight Transport, or others.
Wesley Allen, Elliotts Designs, Johnston Casuals, Stone County Ironworks, Bago Luma, John Boos and a few other manufacturers ship by common carrier with Curbside Delivery, even if these are designated as "Free Shipping". You can upgrade to inside delivery by calling our Customer Service Department with your order reference number.
Ordering by phone for Truck Line orders:
Our rates for all large items that must ship by common carrier (Truck Line) for telephone orders matches our rates for online orders. However, we also have shipping specials for ordering specific quantities or combinations of items, and this will be given to you at the time you place your order with Customer Service.
Truck Line Service Levels
If you have ordered a large furniture item, you should be prepared for a vehicle of considerable size arriving at your residence. If you think there may be a problem with shipping access, please notify us when you place your order. You, or someone acting on your behalf, must be at the shipment address to receive and sign for the delivery. Freight will always be shipped pre-paid, meaning you do not have to pay anything to the freight company. "Curbside Only" deliveries require you to bring the item into your house yourself. The driver will not go up stairs or elevators and will not assemble anything unless you specifically contract with us for an upgraded service. If you ask the driver to bring your product into your home, and we are invoiced for that extra service, we will charge you the exact amount that the additional service cost us.
Shipping Restrictions and Exceptions:
We ship via UPS to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or Canada. Shipments to these locations do not go free freight. Additionally, shipments to APO's and other military address must go USPS and do not qualify for Free Shipping. Even if you are not charged shipping at checkout, a customer service representative will call you to arrange additional payment. We only charge our actual cost. We also ship internationally. The Free Freight promotion does not apply to Barcalounger or Comfort Design orders. Our $2,000 Free Freight promotion is subject to review for a few remote locations. If there is additional shipping, you will always be given the option of cancelling your order for a full refund.
Shipping Damages
Once in a great while, products may get damaged in transit. If your order arrives and there is visible damage to one or more of the boxes, please refuse receipt of those boxes and notify us immediately. You will not be held responsible for any damages, but signing that a box was received damage helps us immensely in the claims process. We will have the manufacturer send a replacement and we will handle the shipping issues on our end.

Shipments to Canada:
Lead-Time
We are happy to ship to all Canadian provinces with our shipping partner, Bilsi. Please note that lead times posted on our website are for orders shipping within the United States. Most orders shipping to Canada will increase transit time due to customs inspection and the the distances involved. Please note that we do not currently offer expedited shipping to Canadian addresses. On average, shipments to Canada add about 7-10 business days for lead times. Some of our suppliers have warehouses located in Canada and we will use that shipping location whenever possible.
Taxes & Duties
We are a registered non-resident importer in Canada. This allows us to simplify the purchasing process for our Canadian customers, reduce delays at the border, and prevent unexpected charges at the time of delivery. GST, duty and brokerage fees are paid at the time of purchase for all orders shipping to Canada. All paperwork will be handled by us, and the GST will be remitted for you to the Canadian government. Additionally, we will collect and remit PST for the provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland to further simplify your shopping experience. Please note, if you live outside of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland you are responsible for remitting any additional taxes that your provinces may collect. Returns
Unless otherwise noted, we accept returns on all orders that ship to Canada. All orders fall under our Standard Return Policy . Please note: duties and GST will be refunded, however, all actual shipping costs and brokerage fees are non-refundable.
