Shipping – General Information

Lighting, ceiling fans and most home accents qualify for Free Shipping with some restrictions, such as shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Canada (More Info).

Orders over $2,500 Ship Free Freight with a few exceptions (More Info).

Shipping by UPS
We use UPS ground service unless you contract with us for a higher level of service. Standard UPS shipping procedures apply for our shipments. We do not ship COD and we are unable to ship to APO's at this time (More Info).

Shipping by Truck Line
Our fine furniture lines are shipped either by common carrier or white-glove delivery service. If you order over the phone, you will be told whether an item qualifies for white-glove delivery or not. Curbside delivery does not include inside delivery & set up, but you can upgrade to this service by calling our Customer Service Department (More Info).

Terms and Conditions
Carolina Rustica warranties that goods delivered will meet the manufacturer’s warranty standards. It is the responsibility of the customer to thoroughly inspect all items at the time of delivery. If your furniture arrives damaged, it will be it will be the responsibility of Carolina Rustica, the Delivery Agent and/or the manufacturer to repair or replace the damaged goods. Carolina Rustica and the Delivery Agent reserve the right to repair any damages. If a repair is not possible then a replacement piece will be furnished. In the event a replacement item is required or a piece needs to be returned for repair, please be aware the typical time frame is the same as the original order. If a piece arrives with damage, the customer is responsible for indicating the nature of the damage on the delivery paperwork (the "Bill of Lading") at the time of delivery and notifying Carolina Rustica immediately, but no longer than 1 business day either by phone at 1-800-205-7819 or by email at custservice@carolinarustica.com. If damages are found at the time of delivery, the item must be returned with the delivery company or you should contact us to see if an on-site repair is possible. If there is damage or a defect, and we are neither contacted nor is the item returned at that time, additional delivery charges may apply. Damages not reported on the delivery paperwork will not be the responsibility of the delivery agent or Carolina Rustica. Returns or refunds, if applicable, relating to damage will only be accepted or issued as a result of our inability to repair or reorder an item. If an item must be returned for repair or replacement, this does not constitute grounds for compensation.

Carolina Rustica will handle any issues with the factory, delivery agent or manufacturer. Please inspect your delivery promptly and thoroughly. Any and all damage or other issues must be noted in writing on the delivery papers prior to signing. It is the responsibility of the customer to notify Carolina Rustica within 1 business day of the delivery of any damages relating to the delivery.

Order Cancellation
Orders placed with Carolina Rustica are submitted to the manufacturer on your behalf. At this point, Carolina Rustica is financially obligated to purchase the items from the manufacturer. Therefore, we are only able to accept order cancellations within 24 hours from the time the order was placed. Any exception to our cancellation policy will be solely at Carolina Rustica’s discretion. In the event we accept a cancellation beyond the 24-hour period, the order will be subject to a 25% restocking fee as well as any transportation charges incurred with the order.

Returns & Exchanges
In the event an item is to be returned after a delivery has been made, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) must be obtained from Carolina Rustica before returning any product. You have 30 days from the receipt of your order to request an RMA. Should you decide to request a RMA, please contact us at custservice@carolinarustica.com or 800-205-7819. Please review our website for other information regarding returns at www.carolinarustica.com/shipping.html. Returns will be subject to actual outbound shipping charges and return shipping charges as well as a re-stocking fee of 10%. Custom produced items (non-stocking items) such as Metal Beds, Custom Wood Finishes on Case Goods and Upholstered Items will be charged a 25% re-stocking fee. Please note, our shipping fees can be anywhere from 20 to 50% of the purchase price.

Bed FAQs

WESLEY ALLEN BED FRAMES
All bed configurations include a Wesley Allen bed frame, except for our Headboard-Only (HO) and Headboard with Return Posts (HRP) configurations.
Headboards in these configurations come pre-drilled with 15 holes to fit any standard frame. We do recommend our own HO/HRP frame for use with our beds for strength and stability reasons (prices can be found at the end of the Beds section of this price list).
For reference purposes, the bed frame sits 8 ½ inches off the floor.
Bed frames are finished in Matte Black unless otherwise specified in your original order. An upcharge will apply for other finishes.

HIGH RISERS & TRUNDLES
High-risers are made for a Twin size mattress, and are available for purchase. The high-riser’s mattress should not exceed 8” in depth in order for the high-riser to fit underneath the bed for storage.
Please note that high-risers are available for Twins and Doubles ONLY, and the bed must be ordered in the CBS configuration where available.
Specialty beds such as the Gaston cannot accommodate a high-riser.

BUYING FOOTBOARDS SEPARATELY
A single footboard will be charged at the same price as a Headboard-Only (HO) as listed in the price list.
The purchase of two footboards to make a complete bed will be charged the Complete Bed (CB) price as shown in the price list.

FABRICS
Our Velvets are 51% Cotton, 49% rayon.

CALIFORNIA KINGS
All Cal Kings will be manufactured as Eastern Kings with adaptor plates pre-installed to fit Cal King mattresses.
