The body of the handsomely angular six-drawer dresser appears to float over its recessed base, supported on four round legs wrapped in metal ferrules. The dresser's thick cut elm veneer has been wire brushed and hand scraped to bring out the striking grain of the wood. The case front is bordered in metal; the metal edging, ferrules and drawer pulls are in a dark Bad Penny finish.
