The Fitzgerald chair is a Klismos style chair featuring button tufts on the inside back. The Klismos style came from the Greeks dating back to the 5th Century BC. The T-shape and curved back are characteristics of Klismos design. The tufted upholstery of the inside back tapers from top to bottom, accentuating the T-shape of the chair back. The gentle curve of the back of the chair cradles your back as you sit in the chair to dine. The shaped seat is tightly upholstered and is supported by saber shaped front leg posts and tapered back leg posts. The arm chair features delicate, exposed wood arms.
